Are peaches in season where you all live? I just bought a basket of them and I'm itchy to make peach cobbler. What say you?

Listening to Peaches while preparing is optional, but recommended!

(mine cost about 8 bucks=2 dollars per lb...had a sample and they were crazy good!)
