So, umm, how do I make the opening post? I looked at past cookalongs and it seems that the first post is always some fantabulous, picture-filled post of a delicious dish... Ack!
I'm totally in for starting back up! But I'll probably skip the first one. I'm about to head out of town for spring break and don't really like pancakes. :) But I'm looking forward to cooking more!
Let's try a recipe each week together! We can take turns picking a recipe online, so everyone has access. It'll help jazz up our food routines and make for some fun homework!

Yes! I had fun doing the Gladcow Week, so now I want to experience a little bit of that again. It was good for me to plan to cook stuff at home.
Me too, I've been cooking more lately so up for new ideas!
Yay! Shall we start again this upcoming week? I'll volunteer to upload a recipe suggestion on Sunday unless either of you have something in mind.
Hopefully others will join in as well – if not, the three of us will at least have some happy tummies :)
Go for it!
I've been thinking about these ever since I read Ricki's post.
Grain Free Lemony Almond Pancakes

Or do we want to stick to dinner-type stuff? Pancakes around my place are a weekend thing, for sure.
Jeannie, I love it! Who says pancakes can't be for dinner? I love Ricki's blog too.
I'm trying to perfect cooking pancakes in the cast iron pan, so these will do nicely to help my cause :)
Why don't you just go ahead and make the suggestion post?
I'm in. and will supply recipes if anyone is interested in testing ;)
Yeah pancakes, not just for supper! I finally got a cast iron pan, too. Lemon-almond sounds pretty cool!

I doesn't have to be spectacular, just say 'hey this is the recipe we want to try this week' and link to it. Glad this is going again!

What'll we do next? The pancakes were pretty much a flop...too bad.
Too bad about the pancakes! Anyone have something else to try?
