peanut butter loves chocolate
I made the peanut butter cookies late last night and they made my apartment smell so nice! I used the recipe Brenda posted, except I halved it and I added the pièce de résistance, chocolate chips! Isn't it great that vegan chocolate chips are available in abundance at Loblaws! And I didn't smush them with a fork, I formed them into little discs while watching The Hour. They're crumbly. I found that if I let them cool on the baking sheet a bit before I put them on the cookie rack, they didn't crumble apart as much.
Here are some of them on my desk waiting for Stagflation to come by:

Oh my goodness. I bet they are so good with chocolate chips!!! YUMMY!
What kind of peanut butter did you use? Was it creamy? Yours look much more smooth than mine and stag's... Maybe because you didn't use the fork, and instead made them into discs?
They DO make the home smell incredible, don't they?!
They look so sweet on that cute heart plate!!! It kind of reminds me of your VRF/MySpace avatar!!! <3 :O)
so sweet, carla!
they were yummy
I'm stealin your choco chip idea. Got some Decedents in the cupboard!
I have never seen that brand of chocolate chips here, but they look good! The only kind that I can buy at the main grocery stores is Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet, and at the health food stores it's Tropical Source. They are both tasty, but I think that I prefer Tropical Source.
hey, it's friday.
Friday! Friday! Friday!
YAAAAY Friday!
Somebody betta step up, or I'm gonna havta choose anotha recipe! :OP
Brenda: those chocolate chips are probably only in Canada, sorry! The Tropical Source are good too though, as you know!
I added a new recipe site on the sidebar, the owner of that website emailed me. Some of the recipes on there have cute names like "mini mountains of mashed potatoes" and "nude roasted squash" and "rice towers."
So if anyone wants to suggest the next recipe from there:

Brenda: also, yes I used creamy pb, and it was Kraft, not natural, so maybe that's why it's so smooth, with all the extra ingredients/chemicals!
Um. Friday. Um. Recipe. Um. :OP
Chili would be good right now... I'm freezing! :O/
chili would be good. maybe with a strange ingreient added?
