Saturday Morning = Pancakes

We normally have waffles on Saturday Morning and then save the leftovers for school morning breakfasts - so this week's Oatmeal Pancake recipe was perfect. My only substitution was to leave half of the oats whole for a bit more chewy texture - these were excellent.

I didn't have any pecans - so here served with black walnuts, maple syrup and a few slices of banana.

The Man-Cub loved them - he could do without the walnuts 'though - he said...

hum:) the pancakes look lovely with half the oats left whole. I hadn't thought of that; I will need to try that for myself:) Still have about 2 kilos oats to use in less than a month (before we move) so that would make a LOT of pancakes;)

Your pancakes look great! So you make the batter on the weekend and fry the pancakes for a few days? That's a good time saver.

2 kilos of oats!
