Irish Stew
We've got some snow on the ground now and the highs have been about 10 above and Thanksgiving is over so it was time to make some Irish Stew.A steaming bowl of this with a rye/wheat roll and some Irish Breakfast Tea sure hit the spot...
My only substitution was to use button mushrooms - portobellos are not readily available here in the middle of nowhere...

I could go for a bowl of that right now! Looks great.
Looks good. I wonder if I cooked mine for a lot longer than I said in the recipe since mine was a lot thicker than your stew looks in the picture. Hope it was tasty!
As usual mine was a rush job - we were hungry so I probably didn't simmer mine long enough - it sure was good - and the leftovers were yummy too.
that stew looks really great - and irish tea is the best!
